Databases are dynamic and variable

Most databases are dynamic, meaning that they change frequently, as new data are added. This means that results from a database query can vary from day to day, and even the statistics resulting from your searches may change. Similarly, querying various databases with the same sequence will probably also give variable results.

Since, in many cases, anyone can contribute data, data quality is a constant issue. Users need to be aware that critical results should always be validated independently.
