Types of genes in the genome

Although plants have evolved over millions of years and clearly are very diverse, all flowering plants appear contain a similar set of genes.

 The distribution of tomato unigenes whose putative function could be assigned by annotation. This is very similar to the percentages of gene types found in other plants.
