Ongoing and future work: Arabidopsis 2010

 There are now extensive resources available for Arabidopsis, including:
- The whole genome sequence.
- High-resolution genetic and physical maps.
- Thousands of documented and publicly available mutants.
- Microarray information.

One goal of the ongoing work is to identify by 2010 the function of every gene.
