14th International Sysposium on Rice Functional Genomics (ISRFG)

From September 26-29th 2016, the rice scientific community of Montpellier Languedoc Roussillon will host scientists from around the world at the 14th International Symposium on Rice Functional Genomics (ISRFG). A first successful symposium was hosted 10 years ago, in October 2006 at the Montpellier Corum, gathering around 300 scientists.

The 2016 symposium will cover recent, exciting breakthroughs in structural, functional and evolutionary rice genome biology - pushing current scientific knowledge to address the need of sustainably increasing crop yields and global food security.

Registration and submissions

The ISRFG website is now open for registration and submission of abstracts at http://isrfg2016.cirad.fr
Submission of abstracts for oral presentations should be posted before 15 April; participants selected for talks will be informed by June 8th 2016.

The local organising committee encourages participants to register now for early bird fees. Attendance in the conference auditorium is limited to 320 seats.

Thanks to the support of Agropolis Fondation/Labex Agro, travel grants will be available for PhD students and postdocs (up to 6 years following PhD) coming from developing countries. Please consult the website for more information.
