The 2nd Annual Cornell University Graduate Student Plant Breeding Symposium is scheduled to held on the 8th of March 2013 from 8AM to 5:30PM at 135 Emerson Hall, Cornell University. The theme of the symposium, which will also be available as an online webinar, is Crop improvement in a changing environment.
The symposium will feature presentations by Charlie Brummer of the Samuel Roberts Noble Foundation; Fred A. van Eeuwijk of Wageningen University and Research Centre; Eric Richards of the Boyce Thompson Institute of Plant Richard; Ruth Shaw of the University of Minnesota; and Lewis Ziska of the United States Department of Agriculture-Agricultural Research Service.
