QTLs for Maize

  • Zheng ZP and Liu XH et al. 2013 detected 8 and 10 QTLs under the high nitrogen regime and low nitrogen regime, respectively from an immortal F9 recombinant inbred line population, derived from the cross Mo17 x Huangzao4.

  • Zheng ZP and Liu XH et al. 2013 examine QTL mapping of ear leaf length, ear leaf width, and ear leaf area in a recombinant inbred line population under two nitrogen regimes. Nine QTLs, on chromosomes 1 (one), 2 (one), 3 (one), 4 (three), 7 (one), and 8 (two), were mapped.

  • ?Zhang et al. 2010 detected 73 QTL for activities of the 10 enzymes and eight QTL for biomass.?

  • Guo et.al 2008 characterized QTLs for flower time, plant height, yield and yield components with recombinant inbred lines (RIL) derived from the cross 5003 × p138 under drought stress and well-watered regime in the years 2004 and 2005, respectively.
