GENESYS - Global Portal for Information about Plant Genetic Resources for Food and Agriculture

IBP users can also obtain germplasm through GENESYS, a global portal for information about plant genetic resources for food and agriculture (PGRFA) that is the result of collaboration between Bioversity International on behalf of SGRP, the Global Crop Diversity Trust, and the Secretariat of the International Treaty on Plant Genetic Resources for Food and Agriculture.

GENESYS is a one-stop access point for information provided by the European Plant Genetic Resources Search Catalogue, the CGIAR System-wide Information Network for Genetic Resources (SINGER), and the Germplasm Resources Information Network of the Agricultural Research Service if the United States Department of Agriculture, as well as the Web catalogue of the European genebanks (EURISCO).

GENESYS covers the following crops:
