This prototype functionality is designed to enable storing, searching and retrieving molecular marker information, genotyping data and genetic maps. Though it still requires some secondary formatting of data and outputs, it helps to store and access low level fingerprinting data ('000s) and any marker trait association information for breeding traits (QTL data and diagnostic markers). This data can then be used as an aid for decisions required in day-to-day breeding activities, e.g. parental and progeny selection. Visualise and manipulate data in various ways including for the creation of genotyping orders.
