Career Opportunities at the Alliance for a Green Revolution in Africa

The Alliance for a Green Revolution in Africa (AGRA) is recruiting Country Heads for Mali, Mozambique and Tanzania.The Country Heads will spearhead AGRA's collaboration with  the governments, donors, NGOs, the private sector, and farmers' organisations  in the respective countries to significantly and sustainably improve agricultural productivity and incomes.

The Country Heads will lead the development of annual country plans and co-ordinate country-level interventions to deliver on the country plans. They will lead the establishment of collaborative partnerships within the countries, oversee country-level research and lead resource mobilisation and advocacy activities.

Applicants must have a minimum Masters degree (or equivalent) in agriculture, business, public administration, project management, or related field with at least 10 years of post-qualification experience - of which 5 years should have been in management. Knowledge of French (for Mali applicants), Portuguese for (Mozambique applicants) and Kiswahili (for Tanzania applicants) is desirable.
